Aw, I love this! We had our son's first haircut there too, but he too was rather reluctant unfortunately. The cast members there are so sweet and patient, and tried to distract him with toys and stickers.

Plans for contracts expiring in 2042?
BWV is my favorite, so I'll be holding on until 2042! That said, the shorter deed is partly what led me to add on at other resorts (BLT and VGF). This way, I can still have points after 2042.

Yes, the arcade at the Contemporary was great! I'm not sure if it was normal or just a lucky glitch, but we noticed that each day there was a game or 2 that was free play. Once it was the skeeball; another it was the basketball game. š¤·āāļø

Yes, they are so wonderful there! One of them noticed that my son liked Lightning and quietly pulled out this book that had maps from various Disney movies. He found the page with Radiator Springs to show my son--very thoughtful!

I'm with you on the Movies Under the Stars. I know that you can have a movie night anywhere, but there is something special about sitting, in our case on the Village Green at BWV, and just enjoying the night and soaking in the fact that you're on vacation and don't need to be anywhere or do anything but just be there.

Favorite modes of transportation within WDW?
Walking is my favorite--you can go at your own pace without any wait, and there's no need to collapse the stroller! Runner up would be the Skyliner since my son loves it. I'm pretty sure he considers it a ride in its own right.

I just tried out the dining plan for sort of the same reason. With 2 adults and 1 child, I think the math only worked in our favor because our son was free. Some of my favorite snack credits were the ham and cheese croissant and quiche Lorraine at Les Halles--they definitely feel more substantial than just a snack!
Magic and Memories: DVC With Kids
In case it's helpful for anyone, here are some pics of the BWV playground. It's small, but it still made my son really happy when all he kept asking for was slides. It's right by the little wading pool, and there are a few chairs in the shade for parents to sit and watch their kids.

It's easy to forget how close BLT is to WL, but I now realize BLT has a decent view of Lakeshore Lodge too!
BLT Murphy Bed Size?
Without actually measuring, the Murphy bed in our BLT Deluxe Studio doesn't seem any smaller than the regular queen size bed. The mattress on the Murphy bed is a little thinner though.
