Winterfest trip Jan 27 - anyone else going?
I'm looking forward to Winterfest too! @JenT1971 is right about sign ups. As of now, there's nothing to sign up for, but I'm sure you'll hear about any updates here as well as the DVC Fan Facebook group.

Yes, all the dining (minus TOTWL) is in the Contemporary, as are the shops and arcade. I don't often travel during peak times for opening and closing, but here are a few other tips and tricks that may be helpful if you haven't stayed at BLT before.

Yes, the kids promo is great! I never had any desire to even try the dining plan before, but like you, I bought it just for the first half of a split stay, and it worked beautifully for all-you-care-to-eat dining with my 3-year-old who doesn't have the biggest appetite. That's good advice for the ADRs. If ADRs don't work out, I've found that walk-ups for lunch or an early dinner are pretty doable too via MDE. You just have to be close enough to the restaurant to join the waitlist, so it's a better option for an EPCOT day if you're close enough to International Gateway.
