Sometimes it does, but since it doesn't constantly check, sometimes you can be fast enough to scoop up a reservation before the waitlist does.

Do you still use a magic band?
I still use mine for resort stays (so much easier for the room door), but since becoming a local, I find using my watch is easier for day visits because I wear it daily anyway.
Resorts for babies/toddlers/small kids
These were my picks, but definitely anything with easy transportation with a stroller is huge bonus for traveling with little ones!

While there is a DVC Fan FB group for cancelled reservations for this kind of situation, we don't have a specific thread yet, but feel free to start one! Success rates of the FB group for coordinating have been hit or miss, but it's always worth a shot!

But interestingly, even if it's not the same Use Plan, you can still have multiple Use Plans under the same Trust (Palmetto). In other words, LSL will not be deeded property either in that case.
Saratoga Treehouse Refurbishment
The last I saw, the estimate for completion was September 2026, but permits for the renovation don't expire until January 2027 for whatever that is worth.
Princess Half 2027
I don't think I'll be running the Princess Half for next year, but I hope you get in! I really enjoyed doing it a couple of years ago. The cooler weather is a big plus!
Carousel of progress updates news!
Agreed, I would much rather see an update than a permanent closure. While I will miss the current iteration, progress is literally in the attraction's name, and given the recent attraction refurbs, I'm optimistic that this can be a good change.
Question of the Day: When considering a resale purchase, which of these is the most important factor to you?
For me, it's home resort location though I guess it goes hand in hand with home resort priority. I love being walking distance from the parks!. However, I do sometimes wonder now that I'm local if just going for more economical points would be worthwhile for some of those last minute weekend trips...
Question of the Day: Will Disney add the Poly Island Tower to the existing association?
It's doable with the Palmetto Trust! If they structure it so that each resort has its own Use Plan within the trust, it's possible for them to have different expirations.

Pack N Plays vs crib availability
We typically stay in studios and have never seen a pack 'n play already in the room since before the pandemic, but it's easy to request either by calling housekeeping from the phone in the room or even using the Hey Disney device. Both worked!
