July 2026 ROFR Report

Did you take TWO VDH 1500 point contracts in the last 30 days?!?

I know the ROFR Monster seems to be on a diet and not eating a whole lot, but it sure is taking its time looking at the menu of offerings. Early spring he was passing on deals in a week or so, now he seems to be taking 3-4 weeks to make up his mind.

Week of 07/11/26 – 07/17/26

A quiet week in the vault. My belly is empty and my mood is sour. Every contract slipped through my claws. Next week's pickings had better be plumper.

4 contracts. A balanced meal. Some buyers will be writing angrier emails than usual this week. The breakdown:

• Old Key West (2042) — 2 contracts. avg price: $73
• Animal Kingdom — 1 contract. avg price: $100
• Grand Californian — 1 contract. avg price: $245

We are selling a OKW contract (218 points, 2042 exp) and Disney bought it back under ROFR...

Week of 07/25/26 – 07/31/26

A quick bite. 2 contracts caught my fancy. Disney thanks me:

• Grand Californian — 1 contract. avg price: $234
• Old Key West (2042) — 1 contract. avg price: $81

Asking for a friend. Has anyone had a contract in the ROFR stage for longer than 30 days? This is for a stripped contract with a lower than usual price. It seems odd, given the recent turn around times. Title folks say that “normal” turnaround for ROFR is 30-45 days.

Hi! We purchased a boulder ridge contract back in February and we were in ROFR for 32 or 33 days. I was surprised because we had been hearing about such quick turn around times. It was so hard to be patient! haha

thank u, that is good to know and yeah, the waiting. my second contract went thru rofr in 14 days, both submitted around the same time (diff resorts). just wondering if the low price on the stripped contract is the reason for thr delay.
