Does it look like the room layouts will be similar to the Poly Tower? With our Poly points already, it may be nice to have a room that has a different overall layout rather than the same thing with different interior design.
They use it in a drink at the Poly pool bar but I was able to get it without alcohol one time as well. I would not recommend the margarita with dole whip in case you're an adult and looking for a drink. It was not my favorite.
I don't currently see the benefit in Cotino (I live in the same area). They are expensive properties! There's some Disney magic in the downtown area but the homes are tract homes by three different builders. If they did a custom home section then I'd be knocking down their door to build though! I would have enjoyed a f
We ended up picking up two camp snap cameras. We'll see how they do when we make it to the park in October. They are not low light cameras... it's going to be an outdoor day time camera. It does remind me of growing up with the first digital cameras..... not great but it'll be fun for the kiddos.
Any tips or tricks for BLT? I'm assuming all dining is in the Contemporary but are there shops or arcades at BLT? The closest I've been to it is the lobby after walking from Magic Kingdom to get an uber. How is monorail traffic during opening and closing? Is it difficult to get to the TTC during the morning?
This August trip we just completed was the first time we stepped foot in that area of the park. We went back in 2006 and didn't plan a thing so we didn't know what we didn't know. The next three trips just weren't planned in. We finally got to Fixture this last go and I will say that I enjoyed the time but could see ho
I've been leaning towards getting rid of all credit cards and just going 100% debit, but until then we use an Amex Platinum for some perks like Clear+/TSA Precheck, Visa Inspire for it's new benefits and Disney Related items, and my wife has a Hilton card she uses for some other perks (we actually go places other than
28 days - Sept 11 - my wife got a waitlist opening at VGF for a night for our 22 anniversary. Been once back before we had children. Now that we have 4 kids we tend to go to WDW instead so this'll be a fun quick trip.
Not sure this should be a separate question or not - @ Poly, the art kiosk has some Poly art options but when we were at Wilderness Lodge it didn't have that selection. Are you able to purchase art from any of the rooms?
We just got back.... didn't stay on property this time b/c we're out of points ( Definitely spoiled getting to stay on property). We did go to Poly for Lunch @ Wailulu which was excellent! That was our first time there and the food was proper delicious. My wife has a gluten sensitivity but all but the ahi tuna nacho ap
After just paying for Tusker House without a dining plan, I will say my wife should always do the dining plan. i thought the 40% off was the normal price. LOL.... still love it!
Surprise trip started yesterday - out of points but still "on property" and enjoying the parks. Its warm being overcast and a little rain has been nice. Its 115 at home so being here is nice right now. ;)
It definitely helps to curb the spending fatigue that sets in (for me).
Our kids do some pin trading for fun purposes so if they end up with a fake pin it's ok. If they purchase a pin, we make note of it so they don't accidentally trade it later. I will say that I caught a little of the pin bug but not for trading. We purchased some Holiday party pins, the DVC member pins, and a couple rid
I have a friend that they're family went to Club 33 via a business that had a membership. That's about the closest "degree" I have to Club 33. Would be a blast though! I'd have to get even more DVC points if that happened.
I worry about the resale restrictions as well but if the price/deal is extremely good AND we enjoy the property then it might be hard to pass up.
We went to both last Christmas - Went to Jollywood Nights with two other adults and my wife and I went alone to the MVMCP. I would recommend Jollywood over MVMCP based on our personal preference. I didn't have any expectations beyond a video I watched @ DVCFAN so we went in knowing there would be food and some fun. For
That condo meeting will be a great thread to read!
Hoop De Doo has become a Hoop De Must - We brought it up with the kids for the upcoming October trip and all four don't want to miss it. We took our friends last December to Hoop De Doo and they all enjoyed it (want to go back for our Bonus trip this year!). I haven't met a person that doesn't love it after going. And,
