For folks who are true Disney fans, there are Disney ownership options beyond DVC, including Disney Golden Oak at WDW, and StoryLiving by Disney, currently at Cotino in CA and Asteria in NC.
I have explored all 3 of these options, but curious on your thoughts about them.
I don't think I can afford to even browse online lol.
It would be a dream to live at Golden Oak though!

Im in NC and am sincerely considering Astoria in Pittsboro when it comes up. Anyone live in the CA storyliving who can share insights?
You may have left out part of the first sentence.
For Folks who are true Disney Fans, and have an extra couple million laying around, there are Disney ownership options beyond DVC. :)

About all I can afford to do is look at it online LOL...If I was a millionaire or billionaire, I'd buy at Golden Oak, but other than that, I am happy in my condo in Davenport:)

I don't currently see the benefit in Cotino (I live in the same area). They are expensive properties! There's some Disney magic in the downtown area but the homes are tract homes by three different builders. If they did a custom home section then I'd be knocking down their door to build though! I would have enjoyed a few more Disney "magic" items. We're a couple hours from Disneyland so maybe tickets included or group excursions would have been cool. Having a private beach and a restaurant doesn't knock it out of the park for me considering the price.
One of the 55 and older homes was done up with some Indiana Jones style whimsy. It was cool to see but that's not what you're buying. shrug
Lots of those Goldern Oak homes look awesome. If win the lottery then the on the list of purchases. However, look at those homes on YouTube to inspire a home renovation.
