Sorcerer’s pass as a non-direct member.

Did you buy resale before 2016? I believe those were grandfathered with "blue card" privileges.

Thats got to be a glitch, right? I most definitely did not buy before 2016, yet its giving me the option to select sorcerer’s pass too.

I was able to purchase 4 sorcerer passes about 4 weeks ago as a non direct member, i was super caught off guard that it went thru. We booked our parks for our November trip already. We have 2 contracts both resale. The first bought in 23 and the 2nd in 25. Should I be nervous now??

My guess is Disney only checks at the time of purchase. IMO, since they didn't, they won't penalize you. That said, I would be surprised if they let you renew them.

Worst case, they make you convert to IncrediPass.

You have to prove you're DVC at guest relations to activate before going into the park usually. They might catch it there, might not.

I have only been able to buy these by calling DVC and buying them. I have never been able to buy them online.

Oh great, now i get to stress about this for the next 68 days ( but whos counting!) Who doesn't love a surprise when your trying to rope drop...lol. . I probably shouldnt post this, but we noticed on our last trip that when we did mobile merchandise checkouts at world of disney it automatically gave is the DVC direct discount.. curious if it will happen again.

info on the internet is a mixed bag. It looks like you just need to get lucky when they check your credentials in person. As a resale buyer, I’m pulling for you. Disney, and many of its guests, love their velvet ropes. You’ll need to update us!

you'll have to keep us posted on how it works out! I was also looking at AP's on the app a few weeks ago and the sorcerer's pass was coming up as an option for me to purchase as well. I was really surprised (we are resale). I just happened to be looking so I didn't actually purchase them. Now when I look, the incredi pass is the only option. Also feel like I shouldn't post this haha but same thing with us and the discount using mobile checkout. Hope you don't have any issues and it works out!! 😊
