BoardWalk Villas Owners Thread

Welcome Home! We have been at the Boardwalk since 1996. Going to ride it into 2042! Great location. I can hardly wait until I see what they have going on in Jelly Rolls and the Big River. Not to mention the gallery. There is life in the old place yet! Hope you enjoy it as much as we have. Our kids grew up on WDW there.

Unpopular DVC Opinions

Dont like VDH so much. Views can be very very bad. Materials used in the room are cheap and shoddy. Walk back from the parks in afternoon can be killer since Monorail is very unreliable. And you have to pay the TOT. Poly Tower and RIV. These could have been Great! But are underwhelming sterile towers. Gone are the days

Favorite WDW DVC Resorts Ranked

@Ryan C Gotta agree with your VDH assessment. Our first stay over looked the loading dock for the convention center. Heard truck backup warnings starting at around 5:30 AM. Not a good wake up call. We were just there for our second stay. Rooms are really shabby around the edges. Closet Doors are hard to open or won't s

I used 2 filter packs to make a whole 12 cup pot. Worked pretty well. I can't remember if the coffee makers also use Keurig pods as well. You c

Welcome Home! just gotta add, We always rent a car and hit the grocery store on the way to WDW. Usually pickup breakfast stuff, condiments, bottled water, snacks, etc. Sandwich fixens are also great as is hot dogs, pot pies, frozen pizza and the like. Having the option of coming to the room for a snack and a snooze bef

Disneyland Hotel Villas Owners Thread

The Disneyland Hotel has a lot of nostalgia for us. Our first trip to Disneyland back in the late 1980s we stayed there. DH became our place to stay. for our annual pilgrimage. We made our first WDW trip in 1996 and bought into DVC and WDW became our destination. So when VDH was first offered, we jumped on it. Did not

Addonitis- where will you add on next?

We initially bought at BWV and since added on at AKV, BLT and on my side of the world, VDH and VCG total points now stand a little north of 1K. Dues are my limiting factor. We won't be adding on to our point totals but may shuffle a bit. We would like more AKV and VGC. (who wouldn't?). So we are faced with some hard ch
