We bought our BWV contract back in 1996! 2042 seemed like a whole world away. We will be in our mid 80's when it expires. We love BWV. Your first is always special! Well we are there! We have enough points for extended stays. We now take 2 trips a year. One to WDW and one to DLR. We have never used our points "perfectly". We usually bank what we have left. Some years we borrow. We also use points to get the Sorcerer's pass.
Thanks! Dont really have a desire to stay in a Poly Bungalow, Maybe a TreeHouse at SSR. We did stay for a week in a 3 bedroom grand villa at Jambo House. That will be very hard to beat! 3 balconies and a Pool Table!

Just a little update. We got our MNSSHP tickets for our October trip. Final Reservations made for our Split stay with grandkids at DLR next April. 5 nights VDH and 6 Nights VGC. Now the hard part. Waiting to Leave!!
We own 3 home resorts at WDW, BWV, BLT, and AKV. So Split Stays are a natural fit for us. We usually do at least 5 days per home resort on each trip. Thats right a 3 way split. Each resort has it's own charm and vibe, so it's like having 3 vacations! In California we own both GCV and VDH so Split stays there as well. M
Yup cannt escape the TOT. (which means death in German, BTW!). I think cheap materials is a DVC wide issue. THe newest refurbs can be a little shoddy as well. Bummer
Hi @DVCken We bought VDH sight unseen when it first went on sale. We missed out on VGC when it was first offered as kids, life, etc were in the way. Being in Seattle, we can get down to California much easier than Orlando so we took the plunge. Almost regret it. Dont get me wrong, it is a great resort. It is Beautiful,

Amen. Now redeye flights for anymore either. So you waste 2 days getting there. 1 day in the air and 1 day recovering. Not Optimal!~
Our home airport is SeaTac here in Seattle. it is close to the longest flight in the lower 48. 6 hours plus. We have 2 choices for non stop. Alaska and Delta.
