DVCFan Community DVC Point Stats!

Once you’ve really looked at the charts, anything under 125ish is really more of an every other year ownership. Which by the way isnt a bad way to go - even if you go every year. You can score a great deal at a moderate for that non DVC year stay!

On the fence about DVC resale...

100% agree. The DVC owner is the most loyal Parks & Experiences customer there is. Aside from Golden Oak residents (very few), DVC membership is as “put your money where your mouth is” gets. But your post expands “lodging” to “vacations”. That’s a subtle but significant shift. You may find that you go more often as a D

DVC 2042 Tin Foil Hat Extravaganza

Good point re CCV in 2042. Would they really offer BRV as part of CCV on short years? DVC membership always has its eye on Yacht Club…unless they walk away from the conference piece of the hotel’s business I don’t see how they let go of inventory. The place was well thought out: A hotel side and a timeshare side. It’s

You’re being very thorough with this decision, as you should! Just remember if you’re buying direct because of incidental benefits, they can change. They can also go away. This can happen for a myriad of reasons ranging from “demand is high we don’t need to give stuff away to sell points” to “there’s a new boss at DVC

DVC 2042 Tin Foil Hat Extravaganza

No Beach Club tower. That will impact Epcot sightlines from within the park. Is BRV becoming part of CCV really what people think? I’ve never heard the DVC Show crew mention this. If true, why am I not buying at CCV? I love BRV but stayed away due to 2042.

Already for 2042

This is so true. And it underscores how overvalued direct buys at o-14 resorts are today as they pertain to being able to stay in future DVC resorts. The new resort point chart inflation is so bad (see: Riviera) that you don’t have enough points to comfortably stay at the new places anyway! So what again was the benefi

On the fence about DVC resale...

As a person who came into this like you (longtime cash stay guest through Disney), I would strongly suggest you rent points through the rental store for a stay before you take the plunge. A DVC stay has some key differences from a cash stay. You don’t get daily (or every other day) housekeeping. Except for Old Key West

Saratoga Springs Owners Threads

The only Disney resort with a golf course. Can easily walk to Disney Springs or take a boat - feels like the Disney Springs resort. Lovely grounds. Excellent refurb. Nice pools. Relaxing resort. Reasonable point chart. Availability. Not full of WDW rookies. Tell me when to stop.

Welcome to DVC Fan Forums!

Love that this exists! So happy to be here. DVC member of less than a year who worked with DVCDerek to get my Saratoga contract. Cannot say enough good things about him! Took the plunge after years and years of cash stays. I look forward to connecting with everyone and talking about all things Disney Parks & Experience
