@GrandCalGal Is the viewing area still available? I want to do a cabana one day, some day!
Ok the wildlife was nuts at Beach Club. Over 1 day, I saw a bunnies by the 'other' pool, a turtle in the water by the parking lot, a squirrel landed on my head - maybe fell out of a tree or launched off my green hat thinking it was a plant, and ducks landed in the swimming pool. There was a storm so maybe that was the
I was able to pickup discounted gift cards from local Sam's today. No signage about the discount but it rang up correctly!
We often do split stays and align with the park we are going to go to and stay a few days. This is the first time we will do it with a car.
Beach Club Villas small contracts are usually in demand (typically less listings than most) and their price has been rising. I watch off and on for the past few years.
It didn’t have the greatest view at first glance. Waianae tower. Conference lanai. Well the sunrise was all that!!
Yeah it's weird how the past year, people have been hating on BC but prior to that it was such a love fest with BC always being hyped. They'll figure it out when the pendulum swings back again. Or maybe when it lands in the middle? Can't change my mind about it though. It's special!!
I was able to use it for about 4-5 trips but ignorance is bliss. Not going for abt 2 years from my last trip and I wish I didn’t find out until I arrived so I could have kept the bummed feeling to a minimum. Ah well, maybe I’ll sell at some point and it won’t matter. (Blasphemy, I know)
I’ve never been to Jelly Rolls sadly. Is a Jazz Club not your jam? I see the winky face. I would check it out.
Per front desk just now: You can do an airport shuttle Helehele for $25/$10kids. Reserve ahead. https://www.heleheleshuttle.com They used to have a shuttle to get to Ka Makana Mall a few miles away with a rental car place there. But the shuttle is no longer in service. You can also Skyline (rail) from the airport to ge
Here for an overnighter. Ask me questions! :) I noticed I couldn't sit at Quiet Pool seats until 8am. Not sure if that's new. Island Market ABC store across the street is still affordable. Had a loco moco for breakfast and a seared ahi somen salad for lunch. Guess I won't eat my oatmeal from home...lol. A very relaxing
I somehow never miss the hotel views. Beach Club is my fave. I also own at Boardwalk and have yet to splurge to get a Boardwalk view. I will one day if I can stay still long enough when I am there. That’s my go go place. I do get the savanna view when we go to Animal Kingdom. Since we have a very nice view at my actual
The pool chairs!!! I have had my contract for a little over 3 years and I am dying to have a proper pool day and do just as you do @People Mover .
I started with a very small resale after doing the math while on a AU rental point stay. It was a super quick decision -as in— the day I learned about the resale market was the day I put the bid in. I realized I needed some direct so I could stay anywhere. By the time the resale points dropped, I picked up a direct, ev
Boardwalk is simply vibrant & electrifying. It’s the place where you just don’t want the fun to end and it doesn’t. Energy abounds everywhere in all directions. That’s why they have the long hallways - because we are the only ones that can handle it! And don’t hate me bc I like the cake bake shop. shhhhh. I will end wi
To me, Beach Club feels like a golf course neighborhood (location, location) or an upscale summer home family community. Like the people who come here come back again and again and it’s an insider thing. I feel the magic here -familiarity, classy efficiency and ease of movement. I adore Beach Club and it must be specia
