As a local I look for last minute availability a lot, sometimes just for the fun of it, as I am always out of points. lol and I feel like there is more last minute availability than I expected ( I've only been local a year and a half so maybe it always been this way? I have no idea) last year Christmas night was still
Grandstand is our favorite section we love it more than the Springs, which is in the prefered section and more points
i agree with you. It just semes so unnecessary, like a money grab. We stayed At GF for 3 nights last week never went anywhere near it but went to Enchanted Rose every night.
And Halloween too! Last year was the first year they did Halloween, and they've already announced they'll do it again this year
I had to pick WDW, cause I am fine with that, lol. I moved 1500 miles away to be able to go to WDW whenever I want and here I shall stay:) If money was no object, I'd certainly do the other things. but I'd still be in WDW the majority of the time.
I get what you're saying, I love the Poly but, but its not the charming oasis feeling it used to be, the main Poly ( not the tower) feels chaotic at times. I am local now but we had family down last week from Boston ( all DVC members too) and they stayed at the Poly so we spent a bit of time over there and I love visit
I am super excited for this resort and for more details to be released. glad we finally got some info confirmed! I dont see us buying there but I do see me staying there, hanging out in the lazy river:)
I love SSR! I might be biased because it was my first DVC Purchase but its quiet and peaceful and I like its not connected to a park.
I agree about the dress code. It takes a lot to shock me but we’ve seen literal butt cheeks especially at Epcot.

Well, this was an interesting turn of events for me:) My ever so generous daughter and son in law, bought us all one day tckets for this Sunday. My answer is tricky LOL, My daughter and son-in law are also DVC members ( they own at GF), we're all local , and they have a 2 night AKLV CL one bedroom booked 6/11-6/13 , but they are gifting it to us so 44 days to go , and they did the same for one night in July thats 69 days out( they are generous and do this alot)
We havent been in years, we went like 3 years in a row and got decided not too for a while. I havent done the Christmas party in over 20 yrs and hubby never has and we havent done Jollywood nights at all yet, so my special event money. might go to that this year:) They start so early now. I dont always ride Soarin anymore., its never reallhy bothered me but the older I get the more sensitive my vertigo is. but I will probably ride it at least once so I can see the new Over America version
We were there a few times this past week. Yesterday we sat at the bar no problem. The seating around the bar was available too, plenty of people there. They said the construction is because when it rains, the rain comes in and soaks everything We were also there Saturday night with family that was staying at the Poly,
We like City Works ( we used to live in MA and they have one too so we've been to both multiple times) . If you're a sports fan, its the best place to catch a game at WDW, IMO. Very extensive beer list, and a varied menu, should please just about everyone:)
