I just stayed at disney and we hit the 2k in spending at WDW, not including the hotel of course since we are DVC. Nothing counted towards that 2k to get the 200 dollar gift card. You have to use it toward booking hotel rooms or DCL cruises. The card is still worth it to me but significantly less so as a DVC member.

Here is an update, I went on the following day and was chasing Feb 14-20th at the Poly. I was on, my wife and I both refreshed seconds before 8 AM.
