https://disneyparksblog.com/wdw/lakeshore-lodge-disney-world-updates/ Incredible interior concept art and names for new restaurants and lounges in the latest Disney Parks blog!!
One thing I noticed on Bioreconstruct's latest aerial photos: the bus stop seems really large. Hopefully that means there will be room for lots of buses at once. Looks like at least 5 buses at a time by the footings? And hopefully they will be dedicated buses - not shared with the campsites or any other resort.
The new model looks so great! Love the characters being included.
Latest update. Kinda shocked it might be mostly DVC instead of 50/50 split: https://dvcfan.com/general-dvc/disney-lakeshore-lodge-resort-use-plan-filed-june-2026/?fbclid=IwY2xjawSLo4VleHRuA2FlbQIxMQBzcnRjBmFwcF9pZBAyMjIwMzkxNzg4MjAwODkyAAEeU8MFJ7J5p9yqE0Dct17afo9NzqbSX-1cjCGebg93Kwm6GGbgbaX1YxgISw8_aem_u92KgrqZZhNwTdHR
I have mixed feelings. Loved the history of seeing how the world worked at the turn of the century, 1920s and 1940s. This feels less 'historical' and more recent / futuristic focused - which I guess is the theme of the song! "It's a great big, beautiful tomorrow." Instead of 1960/1980/2000/Future, it would have been ne
BLT / Contemporary is boring and ugly. I have no desire to ever stay there AKL/Kidani does not feel "Disney" enough. We visited with the hopes of booking a stay. It felt far more isolated than we realized and a bit sleepy. We were there for 6 hours and saw very few animals on either Savannah. Not planning to book after
Watching HEA from the patio in front of Gasparilla Grill on our check-in day The horticulture! I love gardening, and Disney's landscaping department does an incredible job. Walking around enjoying all the flowering trees and bushes that we can't grow in Ontario - priceless. Sitting on our balcony at VGF in the early mo
Aerial view of the new roundabout construction outside GF. Love that the resort will likely become quieter with this traffic diversion. Credit bioreconstruct.
Great new aerial shots from bioreconstruct!
I would go with the resort monorail on the 2nd floor of the Poly.
Our favorites by park / resort: MK- Rapunzel (busy outside, but surprisingly no lines inside the actual restrooms. Well themed and clean) HS - Galaxy's Edge - massive, no lines and fun theme! EP - Soarin' - clean, seating outside with phone chargers AK - Maharajah Jungle Trek - tucked away and never too busy Hotels - R
We used this data when deciding where to buy! So far we've been very pleased with the surprisingly low dues for VGF.
100% agree with those who have said Sebastien's and Yak&Yeti!
As a little girl on my first trip to wdw, I remember riding the ferry past the Grand Floridian and gasping in awe. My mom and I wondered who the rich people were who stayed there. We continued to MK with peanut butter sandwiches and oranges in our backpacks, because we didn't have enough money to buy Disney food. It wa
Really?! I asked member services in December and they said the rules still hadn't changed. Perhaps that cast member was misinformed! Thank you so much for letting me know.
Looking forward to this resort opening. Would love to stay here at Christmas some year. . . enjoy a show at Hoop Dee Doo, holiday carriage ride through FW, quick boat access to MVMCP at MK. I hope they release interior concept art soon. Curious if it will be the same as the previously released "Reflections" interior co
1) Resurrect the plan for Cherry Tree Lane in the UK pavilion and add a great Mary Poppins dark ride 2)Skyliner extension from HS to AK and AKL/Kidani 3)Three free LL per park day for deluxe guests 4)Proper duvets / bedding in deluxe resorts and villas 5)Return of non-expiring tickets
Resort boats! Nothing better at the end of a busy night at MK than walking past the enormous monorail and ferry lines to a relatively short wait for our resort boat back to VGF. :)
My biggest problem with MMB is that I can't get it! It's only offered to those who live in the U.S. As a Canadian, I've called member services and emailed to voice my disappointment with not being eligible. Seems rather unfair. If it was available, I would buy it for the Memory Maker and priority lounge access benefits
