DVC Changes Modification Rules - Is Walking Over?

We also go for 10 days minimum in a 1 or 2 bedroom. These days it is usually a split stay so it is 2 reservations. Back in the old days it was 11 months from your checkout time, instead of your checkin time. This is even before online reservations. I would call MS and get the initial reservation. Then call every mornin

Lakeshore Lodge

Bingo. I agree. It also screws up the Bay Lake skyline as well as Fort Wilderness. The Rooms look nice and the pool area also looks cool, but with that many rooms, it maybe just wall to wall people. Not My Thing. Anyone else not like the new 1/2 BR floor plan. I dont like the kitchen just being a long wall of cabinets.

Bay Lake Tower Owners Thread

Wow late to this party.. We took our grandkids and their parental units (our DD and soninlaw) to BLT in a newly refurbished 2 bedroom theme park view. It was a big step up from pre-refurbishment. Love the new hard surface floors,, everything is nice and fresh. The wall art is fantastic. Couple of things that were not s

DVC Ownership Approach

Welcome to the Comma Club! We are also mulling adding on more points at AKV or adding yet another Home resort at SSR for the Tree House Villas. Addonitist is real! Love playing the what if games.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party vs Jollywood Nights

I gotta second Christmas Day at MK. It is not very magical. I feel fortunate that we escaped with our lives and children intact. That being said, MVMCP is a really must do. We usually head in to the park a bit early. But not so early to be part of the initial crush. It can be a bit intimidating seeing everyone queued u

OKW and BCV - Asking for friend!

Wow, Great Question. I think it all boils down to where you want to stay. Resort availability at 7 months can be rough, so I dont get the concept of Sleep Around Points these days. Currently we have 3 home WDW resorts. Initially we thought it would be hard to manage, but it really has not. We tend to stay for 14 -15 da

Adding Adult Children

I tend to agree with the trust. However we do not have a trust and really just did not think to form one. The California properties had the spouses sign and notarize a form stating that they held no interest in the property. (Extra Fee of course!). However we do live in a community property state as well, so may be moo

Villas at Grand Californian Owners Thread

Parking is across the street by Pixar. When we were there last, the lot was undergoing construction so they sent us to the Pixar Parking Garage. We just used Valet instead. It was a splurge, but worth it. There is an underground lot, but I believe you are correct that is valet.
