I like Annual Pass binge years. I last went from January 2024-January 2025, and my next AP year will be September 2026-2027. Go 3-5 times in a year, go until you feel done, and then take 6-18 months off. If your AP year crosses your DVC use year, you can bank and borrow to use up to 4 years of DVC points in one AP year

Adding the Disney Dining Plan to a DVC stay did count for the $2000 of resort spending. I am not normally an advocate of the Dining Plan, but between Kids Eat Free and getting the resort spending done in one shot, it was a good value for this year's trip.
My optimal situation would be to have home resorts by each of the parks so I can schedule a park-centric trip at any of them at 11 months. Riviera covers Hollywood Studios and Epcot pretty well, although not as well as Boardwalk or Beach Club. Bay Lake Tower is there at Magic Kingdom. I just need to talk myself into an
