We checked out from a 5-day stay at Poly on Sunday. We transferred over from a 5-day at Riviera. We went into the trip thinking Poly might be our next add on. However, i experienced a couple things that have made me rethink that. Upon arrival (4pm) to our room, I immediately called bell services for a luggage transfer.
Agreed. We were asked for a reservation at Poly when we went in to tour the tower with our DVC guide (we were meeting her there). Yeah, this is accurate. Some, not all. We looked into buying VGF last year direct and ot was $265 pp if we bough 0 or 1000.
I loathe smart watches as i find myself ties to notifications all day. We love our magic band for tap to pay and room entry at the resorts. I do agree that they seem to be dying off but that os Disney’s fault for the lack of useful functionality with Magic Band + vs the original.
As far as lowering prices to the other resorts, in sure that is not their intent but adding supply will likely have its normal impact certain times of the year. If anything, it will increase availability and allow more people to stay onsite during those high demand times. But in slower seasons, yes- more rooms can affe
They always keep a certain ampunt kf point on “sold out resorts” but you ill pay a premium and be eligible for no incentives. For example, we really wanted to buy GF but it woukd have been $265 per poibt last year. Instead, we bought Riviera at roughly $204 per point with incentives.

solid change. A 3BR villa is a once in a lifetime booking for alot of folks- we shoukd definitely get a layout choice. Love when DVC does things for the good!

The Village Green at BWV is unmatched! We like the one at the Grand also. Super chill vibes and we get to stop and watch MK fireworks as well! Also like the lawn at Riviera because the night vibes there are super chill as well.

My thoughts is that ots the renters. Im aure its a mix of both but id like to think as owners, we would treat ot as good if bot better than our homes!
