Hello all! Posting here hoping someone with expertise can advise. I am looking to book 11 months out at home resort but i am in the process of buying a resale DVC contract at same home resort/same use year etc. The issue is I am in the ROFR period and the contact I am buying has banked points that I need to use in 2027. Can I make my reservation now and then "switch" what points are applied to the reservation? Thank you.
I believe you can do this. Once your points are loaded, you go into your reservation and hit "modify" and go through the booking process without changing anything about the reservation. When you get to the page that asks about which contract to use, select the one that has the banked points first and the system should automatically use banked/expiring points before current UY points. You could also reach out the member services to ask them for help as well.
