How about Topolino's ? that way when MK gets crazy , you can go back to your resort, relax, etc and gave time to get ready for a nice dinner. Not sure if the price is going to be worth it for your teenager though?

Where are you staying? We moved down in 2024 and decided a new tradition would be to have a staycation and Christmas dinner in WDW , in 2024 we stayed at SSR and ate at the Turf Club ( better than we expected!) and 2025 we stayed at Kidani and ate at Sanaa, ( its our #1 fav on WDW property) this year I am out of points

It does , in terms of time. It will take longer to get to resorts to park hop, etc. And it just annoys me, that those of us that follow the rules have to change what we do. because of rule breakers.
Do you still use a magic band?
I have an Apple Watch but I guess I'm ''old school'' I use my phone to get in to the parks ( magc band if I am stying) I am not sure I even know how to link my Apple Watch to MDE now that I think of it.

lol yeah its hotter than fhe surface of the sun:) so we dont spend a ton of time in the parks but we will go to DS frequently and the resorts. But the new rules just made that more difficult

we did the same thing, we’d go back and drive around the neighborhoods to get a feel for it and to see what facilities etc were there

we are close enough (approx 10 miles) that a ride share wouldn’t cost a ton, but it would add up , were on property an Average of once a week, some weeks more , some weeks less but those are few and far between

As a local, I'm torn, I am sad about no gingerbread house, but I am more sad, at why we lost it -for a bar?! and not even a great one ( limited drink menu. etc) It had been chaos the last coupleof times we went last holiday season, so I guess thats why

yes thats true. I guess for some reason taking up a spot at the parks seems more “wrong” than taking up one at the Springs lol, I guess because we’ve always been allowed to do it. It just makes resort hopping trickier for us .

No, I probably won't i Cant justify the cost. I miss it, I havent been since my last trip before becoming a DVC member in 2004 , I think the tickets were maybe $80pp? If I had a choice, I'd rather do Jollywood because I never have ( and hubby would like it better than MVMCP anyway) but I probably wont do it this year e

We're local and go alot. one complaint I have is, they need to bring back the cooking demos and the food pairings etc ( I know they have a France brreakfast but thats not enough) all the festivals are more or less the same now. Covid was 6 years ago they could bring the demos and events back if they wanted to

It does affect locals. Now when we want to resort hop, we have take up a spot we dont need to take up. at a park or park at TTC, which can be a mad house sometimes
