I've done Epcot for NYE's a few times. It is a madhouse but because it is go big the crowds are more spread-out. Based on what your preferences are, MVMCP makes the most sense. MK has more rides than HS since that will be will be a priority. The parade at MVMCP is really good. I enjoy both resorts very much. Each on their own have things going for them. SSR rooms are furnished nicely and the proximity to Disney Springs can't be beat. OKW does edge out SSR though. I've never flown into Melbourne. I guess if you don't mind the drive it is ok. Melbourne is super convenient to Vero Beach. It is about 30 min south of it. If I was flying into Melbourne it'd be awfully hard to pass up a a few days there.
