wow! Thats diabolical on Disney’s part. Most DVC members wouldn’t notice because they are only starting in DVC rooms. I wonder if tge cleaning once every 4-8 days contributes to this.
I think Beach Club is overrated. The DVC rooms aren’t great, no good views. Stormalong Bay is too crowded, the food options aren’t great. The only really good thing is its proximity to EPCOT (which of course is great).
Interesting Update! I like to put my room requests into Touring Plans months ahead of time. This morning Touring Plans sent me emails that my requests for my August 2026 trip, and December 2026 trip were sent to Disney. I wonder if they are just trying to get rid of their queue and this means nothing, or are these actu
The Touring Plans feature that made the room request for you was only available for Disney World resorts. I believe we only know about this Disney policy change through the word of Touring Plans because they are ending their feature. You bring up a good question though. It seems Disney will probably have to update the MDE check-in process to allow for more detailed requests that an AI can take into consideration.
