32 days out! I've started an extra walking regimen to prep for those endless miles looping around world showcase. Does anyone else increase their cardio before a trip?

93 days! (or 88 days until we fly out) Staying at PVB in Moorea (lake view) First big trip for my daughter- first flight, first time seeing the Gulf, first haircut, first time at Disney. I'm very excited to have a relaxed trip and see WDW through her eyes.

I think the all the lounges around WDW are definitely hidden gems. Most people are so focused on getting an ADR or eating at the quick service places that they don't realize that the lounges have more than just drinks. This year I was able to book a week perfectly at 150 points. However, my next use year is not evenly split and I'm banking 5 points. It really depends on what you book and when. I can see if people always vacation in the resort on the same week that they could definitely always have a "clean plate" if you will.

150 Poly direct here, but we visit every other year so I'm not surprised that most people are in the 200-400 range if they go yearly. We're also staying in studios, but I can definitely see us buying a resale contract down the road when our toddler becomes a teen. Gotta give the older kids some room to be moody. 😜

I think you're still golden in the commercial use definition DVC has set out: 20 non-member reservation within 12 months. I'm not worried yet when it comes to my personal rentals, but I do worry that the feedback over the current rental restrictions will incentivize them to increase restrictions on usage in the future.

This is what we found too. With the incentives last fall we found that there was about a ~5k difference between resale and direct Poly for a 150 pt contract. That's a pretty easy difference to make up over the life of the contract on direct perks. We obviously ended up with direct, even though we had been set on buying

I'm sure you could probably calculate the average contract size based on the resale data that's available, but I'm sure it would be difficult to figure out how many contracts an average or median family owns. I agree with this! I know we personally decided to go direct because the difference between direct and resale PVB was only a few thousand.
