Does anyone have a spreadsheet that can show the breakeven point of buying resale or direct VDH. I know the tax can fluctuate with type of room and maybe season but I am having a hard time of finding something that will put that into the cost, where annual dues is much easier. Also, would anyone like to share their pot

Question for the ROFR monster. Hypothetically lets say that I just requested a quote from direct DVC for the Grand Floridian along with other resorts. And hypthetically, the guide said they do not have any GF inventory. Would that make you more hungry for that resort?
Ok that was another question I had since I am not a member and cannot actively look at the availability chart. If I bought at the Poly would there be any availability at the VDH at the 7 month mark. It is great to hear that you haven't had too much difficulty in booking.

I love all this math talk and price per point (no I really do), but back the original question what did people do in order to save? Or did everyone just have tens of thousands lying around at time of purchase? I know someone said something about gift cards to cut on annual dues and I love using my credit cards to work
If I were to buy this year I would more than likely go with the Poly, which honestly before staying there I didn't think I would say that. I love the EPCOT area resorts but I am thinking timing is everything with all the movement with restrictions and end of contract years (forgot correct name). I love a great themed h

If I buy into DVC I would definitely get an annual pass. It makes planning and budgeting easier and I feel like I would be able to get more use out of my DVC by having the flexibility of not having to add on tickets prices. I also live in the PNW and multi-day tickets with park hopping for one trip can be close to that
