Totally agree. We just did a 5 night Fantasy sailing that went to both (we had previously only been to Castaway before) and all agreed that Lookout was an overall better experience. I thought the pier was totally fine - def. overblown for social media.
I’m Silver and managed to get one for an upcoming 5 night sailing on the Fantasy late next month. Looked right at midnight and there were several available for a minute or so. The sailing also goes to Lookout, so I’d imagine it having both islands may also spread out cabana demand a bit perhaps?
So far we have done one combo last summer. We did a long weekend in the parks, then a 4 nighter on the Wish, and then 2 more days in the parks. We were super tired though the day we got off the ship and went back to the parks (having been in the sun all day at Castaway the day prior). Overall I’d recommend parks first
