Membership Magic Beyond Memory Maker Timing

We plan to activate our DVC Membership Magic Beyond’s Memory Maker after our family trip in Dec. But my wife and I are going to MNSSHP in Oct. Does anyone know if we can we get the 1-day Memory Maker for the Oct trip? Or will the Magic Beyond override it when we download pictures after the October trip? I don’t want to waste it on a 1-day trip.
